The PGA TOUR Golf Academy at World Golf Village is the longest-running golf teaching academy in North Florida. For nearly a quarter century, the academy has served as the premier home for golf instruction on the First Coast, conducting over 200,000 private lessons and golf schools to more than 10,000 students.
The academy, in partnership with the PGA TOUR, welcomed its first students on September 1, 2001, more than three years after the sprawling residential community and World Golf Hall of Fame opened its doors. Located on the northern end of World Golf Village, opposite the Slammer & Squire Golf Course clubhouse and practice range, the 2,700-square-foot teaching facility is home to two hitting bays, an adjoining practice tee and expansive putting green/short-game area, and some of the best instructors in the game today.

We offer a wide of variety of instruction programming for all ages and skill levels, from beginners, juniors and high-handicappers to intermediate, senior and competitive scratch golfers. This includes our popular Golf School Lite (half-day of instruction) program, Clinics (Get Golf Ready, Ladies Monthly Golf Clinics) and Customized Experiences (Scratch from 50 – Short Game Scoring with Todd Jones; Golf School with Anne Cain). We also provide premium club fitting and fitness experiences. Whether you’re looking for individual one-on-one instruction or are more comfortable in a group setting, we have a program for you.
STATE-OF-THE-ART TECHNOLOGY:
Our fully-equipped facility includes the latest video swing analysis and launch monitor technology, including Foresight Sports QuadMAX and Trackman launch monitors, and FlightScope 3D Doppler radar. Our V1 GOLF digital swing analysis app allows you to download your swing and receive consistent feedback from your coach, including drills personalized to you. For those needing help on the greens, our SAM PuttLab stroke analyzer and training system will take your putting to a whole new level.
